The OEM Redeye/Demon airbox and intake tube is also close to 1400$ retail for the Redeye parts, and the early cars won’t need the extra PCV plumbing that comes with it.

Speedy is going to test the stock air intake against the leg maker at the track on his redeye motor with hellcat blower and 2.72 pulley.
Stay tuned for the results of his real world test. That's what I'm going to do before I decide on weather to change out my stock intake

Ok, your impressions?
If you have the hood to match it's definitely better then the stock set up on the 2019 and up cars ( and demon) .
In my opinion the stock 2019 and up set up is better then the LMI, JLT , K&N , etc because they don't seal to the hood .

Charger intakes don't seal to the hood like the 2019 and up challengers do they ??

I also have a legmaker on mine and I'm torn.

It makes great power...at least not any worse than stock...

But the IAT1 temperatures are probably the worst of the group. To the point it negatively affects IAT2 and the performance at rhe track as a result.

I wanted to do a chiller this year anyways so IAT2 will be moot but that doesn't fix the fact it literally sucks heat directly in from everywhere to begin with.

@Hpindy where did you get that 6.1L pump fitting from?

I constantly have iat problems even with a heat exchanger. It's better than stock but not low enough.

The odd part is it seems my IAT2's get much worse at part throttle/off boost than before the ported blower. Me thinks it is just making so much heat even with the bypass open it just bakes and bakes the same batch of garbage til you smack the loud pedal.
