I still consider mine a street car, better internals and a few bolt ons.

Still more of a street car, it’s not a promod. I think we all can agree that the difference between 8s and 7s on these cars and what it takes to get there is huge. Going 8s in close to stock configuration on these cars is no longer as rare as it used to be. 7s? Race car

Mine will run what it runs. Going twins will help reliability. The aluminum block will also. We don’t have huge support to make a gun 3 last. Stock blocks Whipple superchargers. We need better stuff.

Agreeing with a lot of points and think 1971Demon said it the best. If we take these cars down the track and we "race" them. Then they turn into race cars.

Then on top of that, if we unlock the PCM, increase bore size, change out the blower or port out factory blower, install nitrous, change the driveshaft...etc...etc... these are all race car upgrades.

I'd be worried about the liability of driving a car with a cage on the street. Get in an accident and some gets hurt and what kind of questions get asked? Will insurance cover, etc?
