Decided to install some ID1300 injectors and try out some E85 fuel for the last track day of the season! Still working on the the tune, so this pass was without any additional timing added (yet). Unfortunately, after this first pass, the track prep went away and I blew the tires off on my last 2 runs. Will have to continue getting it dialed in next year I guess. Btw, this run was against my friend's stock C7 Z06 (on a drag radial) and I wish I had turned my camera to be looking out the passenger window... too much going on and I forgot!!

Good thing it was only 1/8 mile because that Z06 wouldn't even be able to see you at the end of 1/4 mile! ;)

Just waiting not-so-patiently for springtime and the local track to open back up! 20230124_131118~2.jpg

Nice set of matching skinnies and fat rears. Where you get those?
Thanks, those are Demon crate skinnies and Demon 18x11 rears. Fronts came from an ebay seller and rears from a forum member here. They are plastidipped in gray until I take time to get them powdercoated.

The color threw me off. I thought 'those are great copies' but turns out they're just great originals! ;)

Racing season starts next week! Decided to install a UPR fender mounted catch can today. Really impressed with this piece! 20230225_130903.jpg 20230225_131113.jpg

That looks nice, almost unnoticeable. Easy install?

Thanks, yes very easy... I like it since it's not up front and center like the usual ones you see.

Well, we had our opening day at the track last Saturday. Was looking forward to a new best, but traction was MIA! I'm going to give it one more try on these 28x10.5x17 Hoosier DBR's and then if that doesn't work I'll probably step up to a bigger (taller) tire. Still not sure if the next best bet is the MT ET Street R in 315/50/17 or the same Hoosier DBR in 29.5x10.5x17. Or, should I just go straight to the 15" wheel conversion... If I want beadlocks, the wheels are going to be pricey.

Anyway, as a recap, my normal 60's have been low 1.4's down to 1.39 best... but Saturday they ranged from 1.53 all the way up to 1.69. I couldn't hook to save my life! At least I got some cool pics from the day! Video is also below. 332218187_225382046550238_6101149545164961257_n.jpg 333245573_636870744914590_4560842038303080234_n.jpg Untitled-6 copy.jpg

Thank you! This is my track setup, while the Demon skinnies and 18x11 rears are my street setup.

Great pictures and great video.

Traction this time of the year was always compromised for me --- back in the day !

thats a mean machine there.

What are your front wheels specs? They look much better than the Demon skinny wheels that look like it was an after thought from dodge and tucked way underneath.

Weld Ventura 18x5 with 1.5" backspacing (-33 offset). They are widebody fitment, but I did put a spacer on there for running the Demon skinnies that you're referring to. Then I just left the spacers on when using the Welds and thought it looked better that way.

I recently installed 1" front spacers on my SS for the same reason. The Billet Specialties stuff I'm currently using looks a ton better pushed out, just as your Welds do.

Bo, did you us longer studs or does the spacers have built in studs?

The spacers are billet aluminum and have their own studs. Pretty nice pieces.
