Just went to fill up the Redeye and Joe Biden gas is now $5.49 a gallon. I said out loud for all to hear, Joe Biden did this. About six other people started shouting "Lets Go Brandon". It was great!!!
Great job. Sip of wine to ya. I filled up the other day at BP, gas card 5 cents off a gallon. Still $5.41 and $87 later. What I normally spend a month for 2 cars came in 1 day.
I filled mine up today. Shell 91. Think it was $4.69 here in SLC but I had fuel points from where my wife shops, so I got $0.70 off per gallon, bringing it down to $3.99.
Mr. 16, How does the H/C run on 91. If I don't mix 104, not much any more. But I constantly use BP 93 all the time. Just wondering?? Temps have cooled down. High today is 77 and the low tonight is 37. It is time to take the H/C down US 19 at a cool 130.

You are going to need that extra $$ for your heating bills in the place you are moving. Don't get me wrong. Beautiful place, great small university, good fishing in the Columbia river. Winter is damn cold. Like I mentioned, I spent years there. Working on a boiler that started on the 3rd floor and went up 12 stories. Ended up being a crane operator after 2 years of equipment operator. Then back to Chattanooga to the wife with out the beauty queen from Ft Campbell. Good luck.

Mine seem to run great but I’m not driving the tires off it either. I’m also at 4500 feet elevation and it’s all I can get here. I don’t mix anything with it.
I was studying the absorption chiller last night, seeing how I can make it work. One big point was the altitudes and the affects it has on gases and boiling points. That high up,, may not need the extra octane. Figure it out tonight,,,, After my dinner date.

I lived there for 9.5 years and it’s not that bad. We’ve been back 4 times in 12 months. It’s not Arizona but it’s no Delaware, Maryland, DC, Virginia or any state north of the M/D line for sure.

Gas has always been way higher where I live in the heart of the tri-valley of the east Bay Area near San Francisco than what you guys pay. Higher usually than SF itself. The “regular” that I put in our V6 Grand Cherokee and my 5.7 Ram is usually more than the Premium most of you pay for. So the Premium I recently filled up my Red Eye with was $6.59/9 per gallon. I’ve heard of and seen pictures of premium posted at over $7 but haven’t actually seen where that is. I fully expect the cost of our fuel to keep going up before reversing. Biden did this!!!
What were those other stickers that have been scratched off?
And personally, I don't give the president (any president) the power to determine pump prices. Check the average pump prices by date. Ups and downs don't coincide with inauguration dates (or even policy introduction dates). Its all psychological. Folks with the power to control the pricing set upwards or downwards based on other trends and fears (or hopes) of what a particular president (or world event) might mean to pricing. My dad, the soldier / economist professor made a pretty good haul in investments by running investments based on this psychological analysis of the reactions of petrochemical (and particularly gasoline) pricing.
Where I live we have the largest refinery in very large distance and it makes no sense to ship in from other places (they all accept fuel from here) yet we pay the highest prices in the entire area, and always have. But again, that is just what I have experienced from my own experiences, learning, and knowledge; people with other experiences and knowledge will have different opinions.
