Yeah way low. I think there were good (bad) reasons why it flopped...

Kinda hard to sell a paper order live. People left to guess what it might look like. It also came off confusing as if you were getting the car on stage (used/dirty silver D170). If it was the actual car up there (say in Panther Pink) I think it goes much higher. That also was a weak azz venue. Boiling hot LV in mid-July isn't exactly Scottsdale in January. A 1993 Viper in nice shape sold for 30K and a Gen 3 Ford GT with the rare 70K lightweight option hammered for 900K. That's 1.2M all day on BaT.

Kind of a stupid auction after you sit and think about what they tried to do. Dodge should not have agreed to that venue/setup. Why not wait until ACTUAL D170s are built then sell car 0001 (in special paint, etc). That's how literally every other high-dollar charity auction is run (with great results). This should have been run 6 months from now in Arizona with an actual car decked out with eye-popping special paint and CF wheels.

The "winner" too kinda got screwed (although long run maybe he has a steal deal). Even so, he/she goes home with zero car today. Personally, after watching this I think it was a dumb idea all around.

Add in the super confusing double auction (goes to 400K, high bidder passes on the car then resets/restarts and thenanother 300K is raised). What ??

This was a complete sh!tshow imo...

It's not like those dummies couldn't take one of those Direct Connection Super Stocks they had sitting in Vegas, replace the front fenders for a narrowbody, drop a C170 crate engine in, and paint the car in 3 months... Way better paperweight to have go to Barret Jackson than a beat up test mule...

Mid to low 10s isn’t too tough on 93. RCSB or a CC of some sort? I’m shooting for high 10s in my Platty, too heavy to be a race truck.

I added some creature comfort to it so it's not a bare bones truck. The dealer has the different blower setups but they're very limited and don't know what it will run. I have to go and talk to Palm Beach Dyno to see what they have to say.

It cannot overheat in summer conditions and a traffic jam.

He is doing his own thing now. Not sure how it all transpired, but just thought you should know, because PBD will still gladly sell you a tune, it just won’t be one of Rob’s.
