Are our batteries AGM?

Maybe I've just been lucky, but the four Optimas I put in my toy hauler in '99 have never seen an AGM "tuned" charger or maintainer.
They've been fed by solar panels (with a controller, of course) when on the road, or a basic BatteryMINDer maintainer when parked. Well, since '13 it's been solar only.

What they do have, and one reason they are still going strong, I think, is that they've always had a Canadus desulfation unit on them.

But yes, I have tweaked a couple of BatteryMINDers to better suit AGM batteries.
Optima batteries are a different story. I don't know what they do to those things, but they are TANKS. And I can not explain it. As long as you maintain them even a little, they hold out.

Well, they used to be. And possibly are again.
Recently I've bought some other brands, but time will tell how those batteries hold up.

No the stock battery is not AGM.
