Yeah I agree, these cars are incredibly low, porsche does a better job than lamborghini, ferrari and mclaren but you can only do so much. I will say the turbo cars aren't as bad, if you have a chance sit in the new c8, they are about as bad as an exotic car now.

I don't find my wife's C8 hard to get in and out of...

Seems like this game is played anyway.
I doubt I'll ever buy a new 911. Dodge dealers are bad enough, no way am I going to play the "buy 2 Carreras and get a chance at a GT allocation"
When the first GT4 came out, I was trying to get that car not knowing anything about the Porsche game. Left a real bad taste in my mouth from the arrogance of dealerships.

I've been tempted to fab up turbos for a GT3 stick car and make my own GT2. Fuck the purists LOL

My friends son is a car salesman...sold Lexus for years...switched to Porsche bout five years ago...went from bein a good kid...to an arrogant fuck...the Dealer here sucks...

In all seriousness I was comparing them to c7s, right now I have 0 issues getting in and out of the harshest of bucket seats, but the c7s and below were much easier to get in and out of, c8 to me was comparable to exotic cars.

Porsche is bad but ferrari is worse, there are some quality porsche dealers out there, all the ferrari dealers are corrupt unless you or your family has bought dozen of cars from them.

I remember a guy buying a 135i when they were new and put some tune in it. Claiming it was a solid 12 second car. He went 15.15@108 or something while my POS GTI went 11.75@120
Never saw the guy again

I think Colorado Springs Porsche, for example, would be less expensive. And they usually have a decent selection.

BAT normally has history of the car.
Interaction with the seller and the community and potential buyers.
And 100+ pictures of every little detail.

Plus its an oddball collection of different cars. Its a great site just to see what is out there.

But yes, you can normally find stuff cheaper if you know what you are looking for.

I used to peruse the BaT listings, until the prices got out of hand. Sold a car that way, too, and that was very time consuming.
People asked all kinds of strange questions, and often repeats, so it was a busy week. Got decent money, though.

These days I use Autotrader to get an idea of what's out there and at what price.
