I can't believe how much that 9-inch center section costs for our cars. There's nothing there. It's not like you're getting a complete narrowed axle with brakes and all.
8-3/4 Moser rear end in the 09 Drag Paks are $1400 for the housing. You will need to do work or have it done to make it right

I've got a narrowed 8 3/4 in my Dart that I would take out to put in my Challenger if it would fit easily. I need to find that info again for the solid axle rear cradle for the Challenger. It bolts in and uses ladder bars and coil overs. I saw the setup on a Challenger roller that I found online. The guy had pics of the whole setup and it looked nice.

The Drag Pak 9” requires removing the fuel tank and replacing it with a small one in the trunk. That has to be done to open up that space for the 4-link suspension attachment points. Consider a 5 gallon fuel range.

While the Factory Stock Drag Pak is on hell of a drag car...... the big “reveal” was a huge let down. That car has already existed for years now. It’s what Leah won the F/S title in two years ago. What was unwrapped yesterday was just a competitive update of the same car with a new color scheme. The 4:26 time scheduled for this was misleading. The thing has nothing to do with a 426. So at this point (one year after the Hellephant reveal) the only one seen in the light of day is that same motor given to Worman for the Graveyard car “revealed” yesterday. The only thing that got my attention is that they stuck a spoiler on the new Drag Pak and it was the old Hellcat version and not the new “performance” one. Leah’s old car didn’t run one at all and had tape over the holes where it was removed I would think some aero testing had to be done with this Factory 170+ mph drag car. Is the new Redeye spoiler not so “performance” after all?
I was thinking the same thing, could not agree more!

Well, there are at least 2 Hellephants as Worman’s car was about 60 feet from a crate motor display...

I know someone who makes custom gas tanks for a living ;)

I am surprised no crazy guys have tried to purchase a wrecked challenger and swap over the VIN and a few parts to make it look legal and drive these drag packs on the street.

Even if you did, these engines are pretty damn radical to be driven on the street
