Hi,

I’m having an issue with my 2016 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat.

When I’m driving around 30–40 km/h and lift off the throttle, the car doesn’t slow down normally. It feels like it keeps moving forward at almost the same speed. Sometimes even light braking doesn’t immediately slow it down.

It almost feels like the drivetrain is still engaged or the “clutch” isn’t releasing properly (I know it’s an automatic, but that’s the closest way I can describe it).

I also have an HP Tuners MPVI3, but I’m a beginner with it, so I may need guidance on what to log and how to interpret the data.

I’m pretty new to these cars as well, so I’d really appreciate any advice:
– Where should I start looking for the problem?
– Has anyone experienced something similar with a Hellcat?

Thanks in advance!

This isn't really out of the ordinary for low speeds. Is the car tuned already? After I have the battery disconnected for a while, reconnect it and go for a drive I can lift my foot off the throttle completely and it'll hold rpm and go at a low speed (usually under 35 mph)

I've never had the battery disconnected. The car is stock. Is it also normal that when I try to accelerate as usual, the RPMs go up but the car doesn't accelerate? In other words, the "clutch" slips a little. It's a minor issue, but it's definitely noticeable.
