I have never allowed a single adult to ever sit in the back of my old Hellcat. That is why I got the rear seat delete this time but car seats...with kids in the backseat....with a cup holder for juices and boogers a flyin I couldn't do it man. I am having anxiety just thinking about what's going to happen back there and it is not even my car.

Not sappy at all. It is just a car, and it can be cleaned, polished, painted, repaired or replaced. My Dad was really good about sharing his toys and building automotive experiences with my brother and I. Imagine being 18 years old and driving a blacked out '86 Buick T-type to school or drag racing in an L89 396 powered '81 Malibu (both that we built as a family). He didn't have to share, but he did. My kids have the car bug - so how can I not cultivate that further in order to strengthen our bond?
I look forward to them getting their licenses and asking to borrow a car, then pointing them to the garage and saying: take your pick.
