just saw this at a car meetup ..

Guy bought a retired State Police Charger AWD Hemi, converted it to a two door Charger.
He's a metal fabricator, said it took him 14 months to complete the car.
Wheelbase is stock, front door was extended 8 inches.
He said the interior was the toughest part.
Says he'll probably sell it.

Looks pretty great, huh?

The back glass and sail panels are poorly executed, should have just left that part

So I guess it was "pointless" that Challengers, Mustangs and Camaros had back seats.

I saw it in person, it looked awesome.

Everyone at the meetup was saying "Now that's how Dodge should have made it."

I think it looks really cool but should have let the back glass go all the way back to trunk. I think that would help but I like it!!

The metal fabricator who owns/worked on the car said something about where he located the back glass (I think it was from a much older vehicle).

All in all, his car was attracting tons of attention. All very positive.:)

I think for those that Enjoy the Ride in their Challengers, mostly don't put people in their back seat. They would be the person to want a 2 Door Charger.

I would not, as I like the 4 doors because, I do ride people up to the Staging Lanes or my grankids here and there. They love when I take them to school.

My Granson asked me to be his "Limo" driver for his Junior prom. I gave him and his GF a Fasssst Fun ride ;)

The back doors on the Charger are really not obtrusive, so the point is...? Guy went to a lot of trouble to make a Challenger.

That is correct. The only things that have even been in the backseat of mine is two rear fenders for a Peterbilt.

The point is...from the factory...you never had a choice....if offered as such..I bet they woulda sold their fare share...I woulda opted for a 2 door given the choice

Funny...NOBODY has ever ridden in the back seat of my cars...and I can count on one hand the people that have ever sat up front...(exactly 5)

Five different passengers?!? Are you giving people rides for a fee, or why so many?
