I hadn’t had my HC long when I put it sideways from a dig with the shitty Pirellis. Actually caught me by surprise too but luckily I straightened it out. Wifey was in the car and that was enough to scare her to the point where she hasn’t driven it to this day and says she never will🤷🏼‍♂️

Little About the wifey. She’s cool as shit with cars. And she loves my hellcat. I was in the shower when she wrecked it. I answered and she was balling like a baby saying she crashed it. She was losing it. All I made she she was ok. Rest doesn’t matter. Fuckin car is all it is. I got allot of blood and sweat in it, but I’ll deal with it.

the hurting over the car didn’t hit me till a few days after. Sucks having it out of commission. The projects never end!

when it comes to the wife, she knows all my crazy hobbies. I’ve shown up with a full auto 50 cal ma deuce strapped to the bed of my truck, and she didn’t even ask how much I paid. Didn’t give a shit.

only rule that I follow is no motorcycles. Dirt bikes ok. But no motorcycles. I’ve lost two good friends on bikes. So I say no. Other than that. Everything goes for me. Send it.

What's important is that she's OK, if the car's gonna get in an accident things could be a whole lot worse. The damage looks to be minor and I am sure it can be repaired good as new.
It sounds like she supports you in your hobbies, which definitely makes life a lot easier. My wife is the same way, it took me years to realize she is way more important than any piece of metal.

Got it fired up.

easy enough.

the jolt on the car knocked the power plug to the fore fuel bus bar.

it’s now zip tied up.

now she needs a super charger belt

full inspection is showing no damage to the suspension.

one slightly bent exhaust pipe with the passenger tip pushed in. Easy fix

my coolant tank got pushed up and has a bead or a slight puncture somewhere. Have a tiny leak. But that needs to be fixed.

the rest is going to my body guy for minor body repair and paint.

needs at least one new wheel maybe two.

alignment. And fingers crossed she’s as good as new

@ $10 round & 500rds/min, that's an expensive toy to shoot... (airborne version shoots 600rds/min)

I went on a gun-run in Phoenix once where the armory wanted to clean out some old inventory, they literally filled the floor of my 53 with cases of 100-rd belts. 3-5round bursts??? No way, I was doing 50-round bursts and turned my gun cherry red, more than once. I also cooked off a couple of rounds when the gun was glowing like that.

Reminds me of Chris Rock's comedy bit about $5k bullets. If you shoot someone at that price you must /really/ want them dead...

Couple weeks ago, wife jackknifed the 2023 horse trailer with the 2023 F150. Bumper dented the diamond plate on the trailer. I asked her "Your lazy fat ass bitch sister was in the car with you, why didn't she get out and watch to help you?!?!??" I guess I answered the question before asking it.
