Can any of you guys recommend a wall mounted tire storage rack? I’ve got an area about 48-54 inches wide that I can use. Of course I’m scared that a loaded shelf it will pull from the wall and trash both of my cars. I’d like to find a wall mounted rack that will secure at 16in intervals to be certain its secure. The ones I’ve seen just secure on either end. Any suggestions? Thanks.

I pay Jimmy to stand in my garage and hold the tires.

Tony I've had the tire rack brand for years and rock solid.. Mounts to the studs with lag bolts.

One more vote for that style.

Mine's a Michelin branded rack, but to look at it, it's exactly the same.

I was fortunate enough to be able to use a 2-stud strongeback on one side of mine, and a normal stud on the other.

Was going to go that route, but ended up building one.

I would much prefer a free standing rack but no floor space left. I’ve only got wall space, and that’s at a minimum as well.

Pictures from Amazon of the one I bought, which isn't available any more. But others are (branded differently)

Keep in mind, the manual says not to mount overhead for safety. I did anyway.

Also keep in mind, lifting a 60-70lb tire up into the rack is harder than it might seem.

I put them in the bed of my truck first, back up to it, and then lift from there.

How many wide tires does it actually hold?
