You need to quit thinking like that. I am a former owner of three Pontiac Trans-Am’s, among other GM cars not worth mentioning. I made a big mistake and purchased a 1982. It was pathetic piece of shit with a worthless 305 in it. I was stupid. Had a new job, was still drinking. I sold it, swore to myself I hated how bad GM had got. I went down the motorcycle road, after not purchasing a performance anything for nearly ten years I was so pissed. Finally in ‘06 I bought my first SRT. You guys know the rest of that story. I believe in cars again.
I know many with C7’s of every flavor. I have been running laps at their track days at BIR for six years. I am impressed, like everything else, if all is right, they hold up. I am real impressed with these guys making a real race NO V8 available and put it into something that I consider very similar to my Italian eye as a Lambo or a Ferrari, which I cannot ever afford. But, it looks to me, if some of my brothers who have one of those, or dare I say some of the German high test expensive models better know how to drive their shit if I get my hands on a new Z06.
But, but hold on! A guy will always want to drive home in his Redeye. My Redeye is flat the best road car I have ever owned.
