that's the kind of deal that shrewd wealthy like Forrest Lucas look for and come in and get it for a song, just like he did with the mansion they own in Indianapolis from some CEO-type - something like a $25 million dollar estate he picked up for $3-5M a few years ago IIRC.

Even up here in WNY...where real estate used to be a bargain relatively speaking..the market has takin a moon shot...listed homes are sold in days..most well over asking price..regardless of condition..it's crazy...

We didn't even put ours on the market and we did not use a real estate agent. It was a FSBO cash sale.

No, we are waiting for our home to be completed in Tennessee. Perhaps another 30 to 40 days.
