I did. But it's much quicker and easier to cover the antennae than to mess around with stuff under the dash.

Not that it should matter since none of the vehicles have functional nav, but at least it should stop the emails about how everything is just fine (with the Challenger), even though they should be in bold type and scream at me for not having changed the oil every six months.

Although, it was amusing when the TPMS warning came on (colder temps) and only the left rear was deemed to be in danger, even though two other tires were indicated to have the same low pressure.
I should check my emails and see if I got lectured that way, too.

The other day mine forced the update. Every time I’d start the car the screen would go to this and not allow any other screen. Then while driving just started the update all on its own. Said car needs to be in park or E Brake applied to continue. I was driving and couldn’t stop. So it then continued on its own!! I didn’t even touch the screen. It went through the update process, reset, restarted and Thank God it still works normal, so far at least. But WTF?? I didn’t want to update it!!??

My car does not have update features. But could this be done to the PCM TCM and screw with the tune without your permission? And while your driving?!

Ive always just allowed OTA updates. Never had one issue so far.

I was on my way to a dyno party, last thing I needed was a tune change lol
But dyno’d it’s normal in the 820’s so I guess it’s happy lol

Just googled the request code. No big deal. It's just a new Gov't tracking signal retrofitted on all hellcats. LOL. Kidding just kidding......Or am I?:unsure:

Hey, I was born in that year lol, like me their getting old but still pretty bad :)
I'm a year later. If you ever watch documentary on that thing it's mind boggling what they did and the balls they had. Outrun bullets?! Fuselage made with wide gaps that close to zero from air friction heat when plane hits speed? And more. Unbelievable stuff.

Yep, Even the fuel system leaked until everything got up to temp. When you have to wear a space suit as a flight suit that says something.

Here's the TSB. Seems necessary for nav to function on older Mopars (pre '17 and some '17s).
One indicator of not updating. The radio clock time was not synchronized to GPS time.

Well... I thought everything was cool, but just discovered my NAV is dead.

When I start the car, and drive it, the GPS locks on to the last static position, and never changes, during the trip.

When i then park the car, sometimes it updates to the new static position... sometimes it keeps the previous position, but never changes from either one, during the trip.

Not that I use my NAV that often, but it should work!!!

Sheesh.

Trip to the dealer, I guess.

Never did hear back from Dodge Cares on the issues with this release. 2nd time now Uconnect has sent out a release that broke something, but never corrected the problem, even in subsequent releases.
Don't understand why FCA doesn't put the hammer to them to correct what they've screwed up !!

Uconnect can bite me.

.

Drove 60 miles to Lodge, tonight, for a presentation. Had to use Google maps, otherwise, I pretty much know where I'm going, without NAV.

Not the best circumstance to find out it's broken.
