History and behavioral tendencies repeat themselves. Not more educated in history than most but have my degree in economics and am a certified behavioral analyst.
FCA launch editions haven't shown real incremental valuable. They aren't Lamborghini Sian FKP37's.
The "gotta be first" folks will have the fever (like the Barrett Jackson car auction folks) and burn the cash. That's fine if you have the coin and it doesn't matter. I try not to be a hater
I got my 2015 Hellcat at midyear '15 from my regular dealer, meeting half way between MSRP and Invoice.
Got my 16 Hellcat in late '16 at 13K off MSRP (no Power Dollars back then).
Got my 19 Redeye WB in Sublime, just the way I wanted it, last January at 14K off MSRP (with Power Dollars in play).
I'll wait it out with the belief that my behavior, economics and history will pay off with a relatively short wait. It has worked up till now. Wish they'd make it in Quadcab with short bed!
I hope y'all who are Jonesing for a TRX now are able to land one at a solid price. Will celebrate for you and anxiously wait to hear your reviews. Dealers try to get what they can, nature of the beast. Many are having a tough time now and see an opportunity to add a bit of gravy. I try not to hate the player...hate the game instead.
