Stuck MPG Needle

The mpg display on the speedometer is not moving. I just got this car so I may not be familiar with it but it seems frozen, the mpg next to it showing the different mpg you get changes however, but the needle itself does not move at all, stuck in 16mpg. Is there a way to solve this?

It's an average over time/miles driven. Go pound on it for an hour or so, should drop !

I’ll take a picture of it in the evening when I get home, I’m sure what @MikeD1 said will solve the issue, the cats only at 120 miles

Reset it by holding the ok button on that screen and it will move

If you go down hill and keep resetting it, you will get awesome gas mileage

Yea mine is stuck is stuck on 9.8 forever.
