Replace fuel level floater and filters

Perfect fit.
Old on the left, new on the right (white). The old one used to be white. Looks like e85 took all of the tension out of it! Car is fixed 😎 60+ psi at run, and 70+ blipping the throttle. Around 57-60 idling. Drove it around, fired it up/shut it off several times and logged. Calling it good. Hopefully this helps someone else. Thanks again for the suggestion @catdad. Was very lucky only 1 Oreilly had one of them in stock, no other stores

and yes, I got all of the dirt out, tank was all but empty

On the bright side, I can disconnect battery, pull pumps (completely) and drain the tank in 20 minutes or less now 😅

I got the tool for the fuel pump ring. Still need to use jack handle on breaker bar and it pops. Still less stressful than a sledge and screwdriver

If you’re having fuel pressure issues and run e85, check that clip.
