#1, I got hit by a car 6 years ago and could have easily been killed.

#2, I could care less if I have any money when I am 90. At that point SS alone will take car of my needs.

Yeah after tossing the decision around for a few months I decided why not !

I placed the order on 3/25/21 and received the VIN on 3/26, unfortunately the plant is currently in shut down mode until 4/19.

Even at 75 years old I found the Super Stock too exciting to resist.

I have to admit all the post and responses from DRAGRCR about this model were beyond inspiring, so thank you Ron !

Congrats! Did your car arrive yet? I ordered mine just a bit behind you on 4/7/21. I kept options minimal as well for the same reasons (light and as affordable as possible). Mine will be indigo blue with rear seat delete and performance spoiler. Look forward to seeing pics of yours!

Wow, our cars are almost identically optioned and I came close to ordering Indigo Blue as well.
Hasn't arrived yet, last I heard it's at the upfitter, although I was able to pull the build sheet.

Not yet ---- it's been at the "upfitter" for 8 days now, hopefully will get shipped out any day now ?
I was able to get the "Parts List" after it went through inspection and supposedly will be able to get the "Window Sticker" when it leaves the "upfitter" ?

You'd think someone like me...that lives less than 10 miles from a drag strip...would have ordered one. Plenty happy with the RE for now though. But if I ever choose to get serious about racing, I'd most likely order an SS too! You should have a blast with yours!

There are 3 ways plus one indirect way:

1. Call your dealer.
2. Call SRT @ 855-778-8326
3. Call or use the chat line with Dodge Customer Care (I usually use the chat line).

Occasionally (both SRT & Customer Care) will give you the status code letter, but usually they just give you a description of it's status and sometimes they give you an ETA.

The other indirect way is to enter your VIN number into the "Equipment Listing" and the "Window Sticker" feature that's available near the top of this forum.
If your equipment list pops up that means your car has been built but not yet shipped. When your window sticker pops up that means your car has been released and the shipping process is underway.

I was able to get my "Equipment List" on 6/2, but, so far no window sticker as of yet which means it's still at the upfitter.

Congrats Roiiiemon. Gots a 2018, new, painted the silver black and rest of componets red with red calipers. Painted them 3 times. Paint scheme is red and black. Just had the car repainted black and never black AGAIN. 1st and last.

Wow, I put my VIN in the Equipment Listing query and it brought up the build sheet! So that means It has been built? I thought it was in trim stage and "built" stage was right after that... Either way, I'm stoked!

UPDATE: I was able to pull the Window Sticker this afternoon so apparently now in KZ status (Released by plant / invoiced). The car was at the "upfitter" for a total of 9 days and could get delivery in 2-3 weeks ??

The "upfitter" installs the wheels & tires for both SS & all widebody's whereas the the tracks at the Brampton plant are not wide enough to accommodate the wider tires, thus they go through the assembly line with narrower interim ones.

Also any optional stripes; however, some say that's now done at Brampton ?

There could be some other options installed that I'm not aware of ?
