Am I missing something? It seems like you've got a modified fuel system?

Title states out of warranty. so he knows there isn’t a warranty, factory or otherwise on the car.
The pumps are from HHP, and there are 5000 miles on them. I doubt HHP will warranty the pump, but I’m sure they’ll send you a replacement.
Pull the pump out and bench test it. That’s an interesting sound for a bad pump to make.
