I just checked Walmart for price on the Mobil and I think it comes out as $5.06 a quart. It’s nice that the option is there and I am sure it’s fine. I am sticking with Pennzoil for now.
I am wondering if a lot of these shown differences in oil consumption are just personal bias or just the fact that cars are driven different during different oil change intervals. I am sure they are both fine oils. I notice no oil consumption using the Penn but don’t drive a hell of a lot either.
I use Amsoil. I pay $20 per year for their discounted oil prices and it more than makes up for the cost on the first purchase. One of their distribution centers is in Arlington, so I just go pick it up. No shipping fees.
I dont use their filter though, I use the white SRT filters
I am skeptical about videos with Amsoil. You know that guy sells the stuff. Modern day snake oil salesman on the back of a hatchback instead of the Covered wagon and top hat.
