the battery on my new 2020 charger keeps dying. This is the second time this week. The car ran fine yesterday and I installed some decals that took no more than 30 minutes on the door sill. What can be the issue and how do I narrow the possibilities?

Do you have a Burn Box or Tazer plugged in? I had one that killed the battery within days.

I have my uniden r7 radar detector and my vava 2k dashcam that is plugged into the center console outlet. It has a feature where its supposed to use the internal battery storage to power on if it feels vibration when the car is turned off. Could this be it? Doesn't our power cut off when the ignition is turned off on the center console outlet?

Easy enough to diagnose. Unplug that stuff and see what happens tomorrow.

that happened to me once. You just have to make sure you turn off what ever is running on the burnbox. My battery was dead the next day but I knew why

Try unplugging the radar and or dashcam and start there to make sure that is or isn't it

My radar detector is wired into the rear view mirror, so that powers down when key is off.

We did this in the '60s. It was great when the Beatles showed up with their music.

Unless they changed it, if the outlet is ignition switched it has a key icon if always on it has a battery icon.

Listen, it's fun and I get to feel like I'm driving her around. Had to drive her to work today because I've gotta buy a new ECM for the Durango. Not excited about that. 😭
