Apparently, so new it’s not even on the Wiles site yet.

Pictures look strikingly similar to the old CCI/Livernois style shaft.

CCI has a new design BTW. Hoping to get it installed by the end of days off on the 27th. If not it gets to wait 2 more weeks.

They no longer have the slip joint and boot on the shaft side of the u-joint.

Instead they have that same blue sonnax flange at the diff side, a solid 4" shaft the entire way and a custom splined slip yolk flange at the transmission.

Wiles has been around. They were making Challenger DS awhile back so this is nothing new. A lot of people started to use his DS when CCI temp stopped and people got sick of DSS vibrations. A lot of happy people on the FB groups with them. - esp the Charger guys.

Any word if this latest version will work with a Barton shifted M6?

From what I understand they were doing 3.5” and this is 4” with an additional upgrade or two. Think this is new unless Ripatuned gave me bad info.

Correct, they were selling 3.5" shafts until some customers experienced problems. They stopped selling the 3.5" and now here we are with the new 4" version.

I thought someone was introducing a 2 pc version that is supposed to withstand launch shock while keeping the angles correct? I have been holding out hoping it will pop up soon.

Mark Williams currently makes one.

It's only like 3200 bucks.

The 2 piece Mark Williams is $3245. The also make a one piece that is very similar to the Wiles piece. 7075 aluminum with 1350's on each end. The color is a little subtle

I also just picked up a new CCI d-shaft for my M6 car. It just arrived last week and still haven't opened the box yet. Eric was great to work and took care of me. I'd been waiting since November of last year. I was going to purchase a Wiles off the recommendation of another member from the other board, but the CCI deal was too good to pass on. Either shaft is top-shelf.

@FLYIN4D Ive got to guess youre using a Barton. Pls advise of any interference issues. I understand lots of 4 inch shafts have clearance issues with aftermarket shifters. Thanks.

Meant to mention it, but forgot. It still requires modification to the Barton shifter to make it work. I asked the question and CCI also informed me as well. CCI is almost done with their 2-piece shaft. Hopefully it won't be as expensive as the MW.
