It's amazing how the 4 points of the hard top stabalize the entire body and chasis. Without those 4 points, you have an unsafe PS that will hurt or kill you in an accident.

It's not the four points, as much as what they're all tied to.
There's a reason why post cars were favored for drag racing, giving six connections to that common point.

It's all about the design and construction and the anticipated loads and planned deformity. Look at an aluminum beer can. It can take a tremendous loading from various angles if in proper shape. Deform the design in the slightest and that load bearing ability is reduced, often by several orders of magnitude.

I saw one a few weeks ago.(This one is not a Hellcat). I'm not a ragtop guy. Had one. Not for me, for a multitude of reasons. But I thought this car was real nice, and with the frostbite blue with white interior it gave a real 70's vibe. I liked it. Would never buy it though. I'm almost 100% it was Droptop Customs that did this one. Had the frame connectors and the cross brace.
As long as your not looking for a race car, I don't see anything wrong with it for a pleasure cruiser.
