*stolen hellcat*

So I sold my baby last week to Pearl Dodge in Peotone Illinois last week and they just called and said they had a break in last night and my car was stolen off the dealer floor. This is the second time they have had this happen in a month. So if anyone sees this car around the Chicago area please report it to the police. I know I sold it but I’m just sick over this.

Dealerships are highly targeted. There is a small dealership my friend works at (we were in there last night getting the tail light replaced in the Challenger) that had a Hellcat stolen last year. It had been in the showroom and they moved it outside and it was gone in a week

Messed up part is they told me the story of the other ones being stolen and they said they were going to pop the fuel relay out but apparently didn’t. They just hid the keys.

It sounds very suspicious to me, it does seem like someone working in some of these dealers are in on some intel with these thefts.
Don't these dealers have cameras or over night security ?

I didn’t ask this time but they told me the earlier incident was done by several people. They disabled the cameras and spray painted the lenses. My car had been there for about a week and was listed on their website but you’re right. Doesn’t pass the smell test.

Exactly. And it's not like the dealer is not insured. And what happened to physical gates? So people cant just drive them off?

Ya I do all my own paint corrections and coatings. Here’s my ram after 2 days of polishing and 2 coats of Cquartz.
