Cool! I had a XL70 that had a clutch. I believe the Mini trails were autos meaning you still had to shift it but didn’t have a clutch. At least the neighbor kids was like that but it was newer. His was probably a mid-70s model and I want to say it was a 75cc.

I think they were 50s, 70s and possibly 90s?

older brother had a CT70 and I remember getting rides on it - thought it was so cool. He has since bought two and rotisserie restored one of them to a carbon copy of the the one he had as a youth

Friend of mine that has an F8 green 440 69 Charger and a fuel injected 63 Vette convertible barn find and has OCD, has three of these mini bikes that he has restored (all different colors) and he keeps them on his bar in his basement. He collects Unertl scopes and has a squirrel collage where all the squirrels are in army clothes and carrying 50BMG cartridges:LOL::ROFLMAO:
He borrowed my Miller wire welder and while he had it, he waxed it:rolleyes::LOL::LOL:
He's an awesome dude and daily drives a Dodge Neon:cool::cool:
Long story short he collects these little Honda mini bikes for his man cave bar.

Best I can do right now is the 63 FI vette. His charger was across the street in his dads garage because they were tuning the fuel injection unit on his dads truck (old school hemi)
I do not have pics from in his house. Next time I’m over I’ll ask him if I can get a couple of his bar😎

I had a moto Ducati. Many of my friends had the Hondas.
Had a 60 cc Benelli version. Promptly blew the engine up.

Put a 125 cc Zundapp engine in it, which oddly enough pretty much bolted up. But there wasn't enough room between the front wheel and the larger engine.

No problem. Installed the longer forks from the Zundapp which created the needed space, and in the process made it look like a mini chopper.

What was a problem was that with that much power and sitting right over the rear wheel, it tried to kill me every time I rode it. Wanna wheelie at 60 mph? Just twist the throttle.

I had a 1970 Honda CT70. I probably put thousands of miles on it around the mountains where we lived as a kid. When I turned 13 I needed my first car and found a very rough 1948 Chevrolet Fleetline that I had to have as my first car. Gave the bike up as a $75 part trade against the $600 the guy wanted for the car. Still have the car, but do wish I didn't basically give that old Honda away to get it. Cant believe how much those little bikes go for now.

My first car as she sits today. Parts car behind it. Still in very rough shape, but was an absolute dream as a young kid to cruise around our area in my very own old car! My dad used to brag to the neighbors that I had the cleanest rusted out old car he had ever seen. Bet I put 5,000 miles on it only on dirt roads in the valley where we lived. More practical cars came later, but this was and still is one of the most special (to me) cars that I have. Once I get a house with a shop I will start on the true frame off restoration that I have dreamed about for the last 30 years or so. Hellcats are fast and fun, but there is something about driving an antique wreck of a car that was just an amazing experience. IMG_20220911_114210516 (1).jpg

Should still be the same year...unless he fiddled with the chassis number.

And electric with custom exhaust.

I also have been collecting 1973 Honda ATC70 NOS parts For 18 years,

I have collected all the NOS parts for a complete 1973 ATC70!

The parts are New in their original box or bag. I even found an impossible to find NOS 1973 ATC70 Daytona Orange unstamped frame new in the bag.
