Some may like the tint for sun protection and to keep the car cooler, as well as privacy. While others may say they like the more old school look, especially on the Challengers with the clear glass. They may feel it is optically easier to see outside without the tint and to drive at night!

I like the look of the tint but my OCD won’t allow anyone crawling around wrinkling my leather lol. Ive seen tons of pics of loose leather just from sitting back there. The thought of someone crawling around and kneeling into it makes me think the wrinkles will never go away lol.

I reside in Fl,,,, hot,, so to keep the interior 20 to 25 degrees cooler, tint. Great for the interior and cooling down when entering. I made a deal with the dealership that if I left my car on the show room floor, they would write me a check or $200 to go to whom ever I wanted to tint my car. My H/C is solid black with other stuff painted, but black on black, not a racial thing, looks good. It is great for the materials and me. That is Fl. Plus drink a beer and no one sees ya.

I tinted my Hellcat the legal limit, including the windshield. I tinted darker than that in the past on another car, but found it was dangerous to drive at night.

I agree and I make a point not to drive mine after dark for a few reasons. The tint is hazardous, cops will pull you over more than likely after dark, and those pesty stangs want leave you alone.

Tint.

I prefer not to live in a fish bowl, and to pick my nose in privacy.

I definitely went for tinting, the darkest I could legally go. Living in the desert sw, it is needed for temp and interior protection. But beyond that, I think it looks Bada** !

Tinting is a must in Florida. My first mod. Second mod was ceramic coating. Third mod was having a accident.:(

It's a must here in FL. The really dark tint makes it hard to see at nite IMO, so I go with 28/30 (the legal max for the front) all around.
You can go darker here in the back, but I prefer it to look the same all around.

Lucky for me, the Durango came with pretty dark tint from the factory on everything rear of the driver so all I had to do was tint the 2 fronts.

I agree with it being a must have. It's crazy hot and the intensity of the sun will give you a sunburn in the car!

I lived in St. Cloud back in 2005, on Virginia. Mom and Step Dad lived on Carolina. How about you?

I'm outside of town. I guess I wanted more lawn to mow. :)
Love the "State" streets, close to the lake even better.

It can be dangerous in the daytime, too.

I tinted the rear side windows and rear window quite dark, but do like to see where I'm going...and more importantly perhaps, see what's behind me in the mirrors.

Not all of them run with the radar on.

I am on the fence. I am in NE and it can get pretty intense, but not like FL! I have tinted near every car I have ever had. As I get older I like the clarity of the glass when looking outside, especially at night. I am leaning toward having it tented though. I wont go super dark if I do.

Oops, I forgot to mention that I had the top portion of the windshield tinted.
That part's okay since I don't care about stop lights.
