New from Hereford AZ

Hey folks,
I live in Hereford AZ for the last 30 or so years. Originally from Eastern NC.
I am retired from a career field in military and military intelligence. In semi-retirement I am a performance car, hot rod mechanic and have a small home shop, doing work for select folks. However, I also have a couple cars of my own. Related to this forum, I have a 2016 Challenger RT 392 Scat Pack Shaker. Just bought it a little over a month ago. Got into a small accident with a truck tire at 80 mph (at night) and had to rebuild the front end...some suspenion and body work. Here's a couple pictures of the car.

here are accident pictures...it was worse than the pictures show....


Now here's where it is after I replaced the front suspension crossmember, radiator, condensor, both fenders, fascia support and soon to be headlight and fascia....

Looks like you have a good start on bringing her back! Those semi blowouts at freeway speeds can be nasty! We ate a rear trailer tire blowout at 80 mph one time on I-40 right outside of Holbrook, wrecked the front end of our SUV pretty good! Good thing it was driveable so we could wait to fix it until we got home. Good luck on your repairs! The shaker cars are so cool!!!

My husband was once trailering our car when the trailer tire blew. When I saw all the damage, I thought Did a NOS bottle explode. It was bad and unexpected.

Glad you are getting your 392 Scat back to looking beautiful again.

Lots of very knowledgeable people here.
I had a 16 392 shaker.
Loved that car (traded in on a hellcat).
Looks like you're getting done what's needed.

Man...I never realized you've had 8 Challengers in your day...

Didn't realize it was that many.
Just listed all of them on my signature.
Really loved the 1970 440 Magnum RT with the 3 speed slapstick auto (although I REALLY like the 8 speed with the paddle shifters now).

8 speed paddles are nice..(and FAST)....but in no way compares to the fun factor of my"16" HC M6....

I loved the manual, but with my peripheral Neuropathy in my legs, it makes it a horrible problem.
