This weekend in past years seems to be the one I hit a new best or even the best of the year (around the 15th) I was hoping for some negative DA but looked to still be around 100 feet around noon. Figuring this could be my last trip (rain or even snow) I decided to do everything I could to try to hit my goal time of under 10.7. I went 10.82 last week in 1260 DA so around 0 DA I thought there would be a chance. I took the front sway bar off and emptied the trunk. Gas tank was just under 1/2. Scale ended up reading 4620. With a 1.57 60 ft the car was pulling pretty good and there it was 10.66@128! I could have just stopped running at that point, goal was met but I did want to run the right lane. My brain must have been some where else as I was doing my burnout holding the brake I realized I forget to engage the line lock. I knew the burnout wasn't good and it spun on launch, I got out of it and back in and ran a 11.11@131. The right lane has been showing more MPH this year so I know it didn't run that fast. It was a MPH slower at the 1000 foot then my 128 pass. I made one more pass a few hours later and the DA was over 500 and with a 1.59 60 ft ran 10.79@130 (right lane) It was a good day:)

The DA forecast for this Saturday looks better then last. May have to try to better my time:)

Way to recognize the right lane mph error, there was a guy a few years ago on the other Challenger forum who had a 6-speed 392 Challenger with a ridiculous mph that I believe he got at that track in Michigan and there was no way you could tell him his speed was off LOL

Great runs, your car is moving out!

Way to recognize the right lane mph error, there was a guy a few years ago on the other Challenger forum who had a 6-speed 392 Challenger with a ridiculous mph that I believe he got at that track in Michigan and there was no way you could tell him his speed was off LOL
I noticed it last year but it was the left lane that was higher about 2mph My friend was running the right lane a week ago going 158-159 with a best 8.69. This past weekend he was running the left going 8.45-8.54 with most of the runs showing 154. His last it did show 158

I was 3rd at the track waiting to open (my friend Tim was 2nd) but 1st in tech. I like my Kestrel 5100 but for some reason the temp jumps around when it is cooler. Online it says the DA was -450 but my Kestrel was saying -250 to -200 to start. I put down -25 DA at 5:00 but online was saying -250. 1st pass car felt great with a 1.55 60ft but ran a 10.67@129. I ran the left line most of the day like last week. Car was showing 129 mph every run. I had some spin on a couple of runs. Tried leaving at 2000 rpm and 1500 rpm but seemed to do better around 1000. I ran 7 times 2 without an air filter which were a 10.72 and 73. I had 2 1.55, 2 1.57 and 1 1.59. My 3rd pass ended up being my best which I'm going to say the DA was -230 10.65@129. I have attached last weeks best with this weeks and I am a little dumbfounded though. I was .02 fast at the 60 ft .03 at the 1/8th and 1000 but only ran .01 quicker. The 1000 ft mph was faster last week but the 1/4 was more this week. It is possible the mph was reading a little different in the left lane. I ran the right lane once and it went 130.

I was really hoping with the air to get in the 50's but didn't happen

So Mike had his '15 Challenger Hellcat out at the track today. I met him last year at the track and ended up buying the 3.09's from him before I even bought my TAXI last spring. He has a 2.72 with 10% lower, e85 and a black ported supercharger by Jokerz that was for sale recently. It has a 105mm tb on it. He recently had it tuned by Barth. It has a drag pack and weighs over 4700 lbs I ran him twice and both times I spun go figure (the first I was trying to leave at 2000 and the 2nd just a little bit) His 60 ft still isn't there but he was happy. I told him last time he was at the track with worse DA and having some traction issue that he would go 9.5's today, I was right
