Yes. The price point on this will be interesting. Both the Jeep GC SRT and Durango SRT are at $68k and the TrackHawk is about $88k.

So where would an HC Durango fall in?

FCA also has to be careful if they cut the cost too much or it will kill Trackhawk sales. Something tells me though that this is going to be priced not too far off the Trackhawk since the SRT Durango is already WAY overpriced.

Trackhawk sales are already terrible. Their sales are basically ordered vehicles. I think last year they sold less than 1500 units.

This will be price a couple thousand less than the jeep, just like the Durango SRT is a couple thousand less

How is the Durango SRT "Way" overpriced?? It's about what a jeep SRT is....and ya know....they are basically the same vehicle. A Durango R/T is in the $50s

Ah, I remember the good old days when us Challenger and Charger guys felt like a king with the exclusive Hellcat motor. Now everything is hellcat powered, and we are just normal now. You can even buy new, non Hellcat Challengers now that look like my real Hellcat. Cant wait for the Hellcat powered mini van to come next. DAMN YOU FCA!!!

Dodge further drowning the Hellcat name for something that won't sell. Very few people are going to spend 80k on a Durango.

As a baseline, they only made 657 DSRTs for MY19, so I'd expect even less DHCs.

I guess it'll be rare!

Yes. Is it possible for HellCat fatigue to set in with all this oversaturated "HellCat" everything?

Potential slippery slope FCA is going down.

Seems apparent to me when I have priced comparably equipped, trim (motor) levels of a particular platform that FCA has a $15K delta from 5.7 to 6.4 and another $15K delta from 6.4 to 6.2. To make matters worse, until recently, the first delta gets bigger due to higher discounting on lower trim models. If FCA would reduce that first and second deltas to $8-10K each, I'd be more likely to take the plunge for higher trim (motor) levels. At the end of the day the cost delta in labor and parts from 5.7 to 6.4 or from 6.4 to 6.2 can in no way be $15K even including the possibility of higher long-term warranty costs. They are just making out on the higher trim purchases because the lower trim fleet (a.k.a rental car) needs to be bare bones in price.

If the current JGC-SRT and DSRT share so much as to be virtually the same but different vehicle, I would imagine it would be the same with TrackHawk and HCD. $68k to $88k. The Durango HellCat has to be less than TrackHawk, just has to. $78k..? 10grand more than GC or D, but 10grand less than TH.

Of course our pricing is based on current msrp. We have no idea what the actual cost is to produce them. Those numbers are guarded like Col Sanders KFC recipe. 😂
