My pump E setup. Wanted to get an apples to apples, but I’m in summer trim now. Made about 1000 on my 275 snow tires, and we gained 30 wheel with the 112TB, but on 29” drag tires. Watching the videos I could see the crazy amount of wrinkle the tire was giving. I’d say safe bet 50+ gain from it, but trap speed will tell all. It’s a beast of a TB for sure and ideal for this particular setup.

Making a bit of progress. Still trying to get as much air out as possible. I also may have a small kink that is slowing movement of the fluid down. Need to dig in further.

Turns out my chiller system was only 1/2 filled with Freon. This is the issue when dealing with dealers and R1234yf. You can only fill that at dealers since most mom and pop shops don’t have these machines. This is something to consider if you want to keep stock Freon. R134a seems to be the choice for most since it’s cheaper and cools better.

The stage 2 kit I have needs about double the charge of Freon. Stock fill is 624 grams. We put in 1300 grams. Temps seem to be much better now.

This is after about 10-15 mins of driving when it was 60-70 out. This system is out performing my killer chiller with the 2 gallon tank as far as cruising speeds and daily driving duties go. I have no tank anymore, but this core is double the size of what I had prior and has some more bells and whistles. Next test is wot IAT recovery.

This system would kill with a small tank I believe.

Which of the 2 popular systems did you go with and did you install yourself or have satera hash it out?

This might be something I almost "need"...almost.

The FI kit out of Australia

Satera did the install. We had some Freon charge mis communication, but got it sorted out now.

Ambient was in the 60’s, disregard the actual readout since that is my IAT. This kit seems to be holding up well so far. I’m going to start doing WOT testing on the IC temp recovery soon. 6860EF00-B9FD-4EFC-AAA6-EF724AB8F2B9.jpeg
