As suppliers across the country don’t have the 315/50r17 in stock and wont have for a while it has left me no choice but to convert down to 15” wheels so I can at least choose a tire. I plan on going with the TCE kit and wheels from HHP… @HighHorseman wanna give me a discount code? 🤣

What successful tire sizes has everyone been working with, shouId I try and aim for the x275 class? After the blowout on the DBR and no one having anything in stock its quite disappointing.

Rc Components single beadlock 15x10 with 6.5”bs and MT 315/60/15

Second picture is a 28” Hoosier compared to the MT 315

Do not purchase the light weight rear rotors, they are prone to failure when used on these heavy boats. I had both of mine crack with about 8 passes on them. CE8963C9-8CFC-4C93-89ED-371B77851490.jpeg 5970203B-03F8-40AE-8BDB-9C5E7E783955.jpeg

I had very good results with the 315 M/T Radial Pros on the Billet Specialties 10 wide single beadlocks with a 6.5” back space. My understanding is now that Carlyle, who was selling those sold out to BMR, they would have to be special ordered from Billet Specialties for the Hellcat. Weld is selling a 15x10 that is very close to a copy of that wheel for a unbelievably low price. Primetime here just bought a set. The 315 is 30” tall so you really need to run the 3.09 gear with that. The 275 is the same tire at 28”. I’ve posted these a million times but here they are again. And yes…. You need to “mod” the inner wheel well 😏 4739350E-90E3-4FF4-A786-E5A103600445.jpeg 47531626-9F49-42C6-9A7B-8128ADCF9079.jpeg 2AF5867D-C10E-4159-A2C7-952F0E367FFD.jpeg

Regarding the Wilwood rotors…. I know that the one piece fronts had issues and I would not use those. I do not know it the rears have had the same cracking issues as the fronts (mine didn’t) but they now have a two piece setup that was basically designed to fix the cracking problems that the one piece rotors were seeing. If those are available for the rears, I would recommend going with those.

This is my current tire bullpen. Two sets of 315 M/T Radial Pros and a new set of Hoosier stiff sidewall bias ply slicks (29.0/10.5W). I’ve been told that the slicks will work better on a slippery low prep track so I’ll give those a shot when called for. 63121821-0957-4188-9871-60B5CEDC0F57.jpeg

Thats very interesting info on the slicks. Please create a thread with your experience/thoughts when you use the slicks- represents valuable info for the community.
