Great info as always. Going to be weird for me to not see "heads up" data. I'm hoping Diablo keeps pushing updates for the T2 so I can still use that as a handy street logger. My old T1000 was great with all my LED alarms for fuel trims, knock, and duty cycle. None of that works on the T2, only "work around" for fuel pressure is to set it to show a color alarm when it's doing what it is supposed to, so if you ever were to see the color go away at WOT, that means pressure drops.

I will of course use HP for tuner data and track data.

Yeah I had hoped with Holley taking over Diablo it would advance, but seems not. The only thing I see that HPT needs is a heads up display of some sort. Perhaps a cell phone app is in the works.

Some quick Googling finds HPT Ngauge references from 2016.....I'd like a bit bigger screen personally.

I've got a Microsoft Surface that's a 10" I think, but that's really too big. I'd like something in the 3" x 5" size range like a cell phone that could be mounted to the windshield.

Well, you made me go look and I actually found a 7" one. Kinda pricey though.

That would be the way to do it. I know a couple who have it mounted hanging off the vents

I used an old Amazon Fire tablet as a digital dash, but that was a dirty Honda.

I might have to look into that. Is that mini lab top something you can use for data logging?

Didn’t HPT mention some kind of Bluetooth connectivity to the OBD port so you can pair with phone or tablet?

was hoping to get the IPad to get mounted up and use that as heads up display

I tried blue tooth and it connects and all but was too slow to keep up with the data stream. Bummer.

Ok, not to go off thread but is this why it takes so long for the SRT gauge panel to display when you start car and try and get it show? It takes awhile to process info on cold start up. Same info stream? (Blue tooth/ Sirius?) I miss my hard wired gauges on my old '09 6.1.

More of the HPTuners false promises.

Just run a hard line to the tablet, especially if you have lots of channels loaded. Otherwise run a paired down config for critical data.
