I doubt they would need to make it mid engine if that was the case. But if this thing has a 5.2L V8 Supercharged Predator engine in it and it don't cost $1,000,000... I'll have one right beside my incoming C8 Z06

Those pesky C8s have 0 trunk space. I don't even think that you can put golf clubs in the thing.

I wonder if these were the engines Dodge was truely blowing and not the Demon 170 engines...

They were blowing D170 engines and have been blowing Hurricanes when putting power to them. I was promised the second coming of the 2JZ, but now I'm not so sure.

I was planning on building a really controversial truck, a 2010 Ram R/T with a Hurricane with a bunch of boost and a TRX front end, box sides, and a 5th gen ram interior but gave up on that idea. The Hurricane that was supposed to go into it is still sitting around though.

A lady at work has been daily driving a Vette for the last 20 years. She just ordered a 24 to replace her 2014 C7. She wasn't going to buy one because she thought the same thing. Dealer gave her one to try out for a weekend and promptly ordered a new on Monday.

Probably they don't have 1. The grudge match racers were supposed to get 1. Ended up with redeye motors.

But I remember when GM wanted to get into the import racing scene.
They sent out a few EcoTec 4 cylinders to race teams/engine shops and told them to build them up or something to that nature.

End result was their Cobalt/Saturns 4 cylinders making over 700 (i think even over 800) hp.

This was 20 years ago.
You mean to tell me Dodge can't find an engine builder who could make a 1000hp Hurricane?

Put a single 76mm turbo on there.
Let it fart and pop and make loud turbo noises as it does a big ass smoky burnout down the street.
It wouldn't be a Hellcat, but it sure as hell would grab everyone's attention.
