You have a problem, I own four FCA vehicles, each with their own key fob.

Add them together and you have a giant mess that I'm not inclined or motivated to carry around.

If we could pick our favorite fob (guess which one) and program it to all of our vehicles, then I wouldn't have this massive, ungangly mess of fobs to carry around!

;)

Just use your phone and Uconnect, as long as you're willing to wait about 3 minutes for any response.
Well I guess that would not work for actually driving the vehicles...

Well that and I haven't found a motivating reason to keep Unconnect active either.

And of course I can't lock the fobs inside and use Uconnect to open it either... :(

Do share! The times I've accidentally done that, the damn thing yells and me and tells me I'm an idiot and to get the keys out before trying that again...

Only use this word around people who you trust and who know that you are normally a more intelligent person.

Using this word around strangers or at the wrong moment can have negative repercussions about your mental capacity.

Well, I control all the $$$ anyway, so no need to pillage what I already have :D + her keys are right there on the hook for the rare occasion when I decide to take her Honda.
Also keep the key ring there that has all the keys to the business on it (kennel building, locker, PO box, kennel locks etc.) since I don't want to carry that mess around unless I need it.

I don't have any other keys on either of my fobs, and like the fob I'm not using, it stays where I need it.
For breaking into the wife's car, my wife doesn't lock her vehicle, but she also doesn't keep anything in it worth stealing.

You bring up an excellent idea though...
I could 3-d print a single fob, with a single battery, and even a single set of buttons, and have the internals of all of the fobs at the ready. A selector would get me around "unlocking/locking/starting" all vehicles at once... It wouldn't be as small as a single fob, but probably not much bigger than 2 of them, since the buttons and battery would be redundant. If you've ever had your fob apart, and I had mine apart last week, there is a lot of room for consolidation between 2 of them.

Consider 3 of your fobs use the same form factors... all I'd need to make is a "spacer" that goes between the top and bottom of the ones you have, and wire in a selector that connects 1 of them to the battery at any given time. Of course... that would take a little time to pull off, and the market for it is literally non-existent. But, that's how I would pull it off. Only because I don't have the ability to just change the signal emitted from 1 fob, to have it work on several vehicles. It's likely just an integer that would need to be changed when you pick your vehicle.
