The wife wants one as well. Last year shitty examples were $25K+ let alone something that didn't need $15-20K in work. I also just saw that Chevy may have a 2025 El that may scratch her itch and give her a new daily. Nothing like the classic, but I also won't have another project.

I just checked some ads, and 25-40K seems to be where the decent ones are priced.

I just was forced into buying a used vehicle for a daily and from what I could see no the used car market hasn’t collapsed because they still want a fortune in my opinion at least for a used vehicle compared to the cost of new and I cannot bring myself to use a new car as a daily driver, at least up north here where I live, and how Winters pound a car no matter how well you take care of it they rot out somewhere before they mile out unfortunately. And some of the used vehicles I looked at in my search of a replacement forerunner The underside frame had more rust on it than my well taken care of 20-year-old forerunner It is to replace it and these vehicles were only three or four years old with a $35,000 price tag!! no way in hell was I buying one like that but unfortunately, some fool that doesn’t look under a car will end up with it someday.
