Has anyone painted their front license plate bracket to match the cars color?

Toying with the idea of spraying my oem black plastic front license plate bracket B5 to match the cars paint. Bumper has already been drilled, and I'm aware of the Sto n Sho removable bracket, but I would still have to either have the bumper cover repaired, or used those colored plugs, which don't look so great anyway. Thanks as always...

I painted the front license plate bracket and rear spoiler to match on my 2019 White Knuckle REWB. I liked the look. Ohio eliminated the front plate requirement last year so I won't have to decide what to do on the 2021 Indigo Blue REWB.

Man those plates look horrible on the nose of the Cat. like a damn billboard. I'm so glad we don't have to have them here. At lest they could have stuck it down in the mouth instead of on the nose like a big zit.
