Good bye Destroyer Gray

Yea, I think it was gone in 2020 for Challenger/Charger, but might’ve stuck around in the Durango.

Smoke show is similar but maybe more hints of blue scale.

Destroyer gray is already gone. It was replaced by smoke show.

Some people said that destroyer gray looked like an old battleship. The Navy painted their ships in that color to make them harder to spot by the enemy. Guess it's good my Hellcat is also gray so I can get her slowed down before the "enemy"--aka a cop sees me crest the horizon doing 120 knots.

My friends said the same thing about my car. I had to point out that all their cars started out with the best color, then they added some ugly color of the rainbow and covered it up.

And there's the reason I went with Granite. Destroyer Gray would've been a close second.
Combined with debadging, it's a a fairly incognito car...when I want it to be.

I always liked the color; not a fan of smoke show.

I love my destroyer grey HC, it still gets comments about the color, combined with the satin black hood, it really does look like it means business, besides it fits my "Dumbo" theme I am getting done for it!

My 15 RT wasn't Destroyer Grey, but Granite.
Traded it on a 16 Scat that was at the dealership.

Traded it on a 16 hellcat (TorRed)
Got the triumph wheels with red hardware,
So upgraded the wheels to 11.5 wide, kept the color, so I ordered my 19 TorRed.

Okay, so you made one mistake and ordered red.
Doesn't mean you can't still love Destroyer Gray.

Personally I’ve always found destroyer gray just a bit drab and uninteresting. Personally I liked every other silver/gray more. Granite, trip nick, billet, max steel. I saw a smoke show 392 charger a summer ago looked really good in person.
