I wonder how the fire started. Most of time the EV was in an accident.

"Fire Investigators determined the fire started in a 2019 Jaguar I-PACE that was charging when the fire occurred. A recall was issued for the I-PACE last year after a battery overheating issue caused fires."

I saw a video of a scrap yard that dug large car size pits and filled them with water to put crashed EVs in to sit for a week or two before they would pull them out and start the recycling process

Curious how EV insurance compares to ICE these days. I also wonder if homeowners insurance companies are asking if you own an EV before they give out a quote?

I read that ev insurance is much higher than ice.
