I have read so many different responses on this. Would really like to know before putting some sticky tires on for track use. Anyone know for sure? Consensus seems to be only those with 3.09 option.

I can not say for 100% certainty if the axle ratio option undoes this, but I don't think so.

Thanks for responses. I thought the shaft was much better? If CCI ever starts making them again I would get one.

Shaft is terrible, go into the 9's and boom. Replace the shaft, put a brace on the center section and send it.

I do have the brace. Waiting on a good drive shaft. Not sold on what’s out there right now.

So for us non hp adding fiends that have Redeyes and are staying stock, we should have a pretty good safety margin!

So, if you have a new Redeye with a factory 2.62 rear gear, does that car come from the factory with Demon axels??? and is the center section as strong as the Demon???

All redeyes have the Demon axles, even with the 2.62 rear.

I believe all WB cars have the Demon axles (back to MY18), not just Redeye cars.

Got the Redeye home yesterday and put it on the lift. 0928190603_HDR.jpg 0928190610.jpg 3:09 gear option shows the 846 driveshaft and 799 AA gear that is the replacement for the 497 Demon axle
