The latest one on Youtube; not the dude who was active on the other forum.

I don't understand. Is that a problem? Are we all to sell our 17 and older cars to get a "real (factory) widebody"?

It is just another gatekeeping mentality that divides the community. Demons. Widebooty. Manual transmissions. Leather interiors. And even that ACR sticker on your car is going to trigger some asshole if it comes to fruition.

I get it. For clarification I put that ACR sticker on my car to poke a little at the SRT guys who say a Challenger can't handle.
Before this car I had a 15 Scat Pack and I put TA side stripes on it before the official TA came out.
So, if we follow the same logic...

I can only imagine that maybe because it wasn't factory that it could be worth less down the road. Other than that I don’t see why it matters.

Yep, I'm right there with you. Heck, my car is by default worth less than when it was new and keeps going down. I just make it my own and try not to hack it up so noone else will want it. Installing a WB kit done right should add value to the car, albeit nowhere near the $6K it takes to tick the option on a new car.
