Got the alignment done after installing the AAD Dragpack rear suspension. HUGE difference in drive and handling in a good way. For those that are interested mine needed #4 tabs in the upper tension arm, #6 tabs in the camber arm, and #1 tabs in the toe links. Of course YMMV as each cradle and car can be different. Next up is some track testing and hopefully some low 1.4x 60 foots.

For what I could see on your before chart it looks like 3 out 4 in the rear were red for where they said it would be close to factory for the tabs? I really think Challengers are worse from the factory then Chargers

Keep in mind moving the cradle around might have influenced the before numbers. I never had the alignment checked stock. Factory suspension doesn't have camber adjustment though either.

Great video! Nice work @Speedy!. Good info, looking at your tab numbers and settings, these cars are not that far off btw them.

The new bushings take care of most of that hop. Plus you know how to drive, so using the right pedal like that makes it hook good on a roll! You should have some improvements at the strip, my friend, have fun!

you said they had the door closed an you couldn`t see in, you would be amazed how sensitive the equipment is when its a breezy day, numbers flip all over as you take readings with a gust of wind blowing in the shop.

That's what the tech said, I was surprised to hear it was that sensitive but after thinking on it driving home it made sense. We're talking tenths and hundreths of a degree after all.

4's and 6's is less than I needed. I kept the arms the same and needed a starting point of 6's to get in the ballpark. I think we stopped up to 7's on the one side.

I have 6 different tab sets in total and can go more positive if needed but I'm close enough to 0 that I may not bother.

Toe OTOH needs redone before it hits the track.

I've got two weeks driving on it now. The only time I've felt anything is if I hit a seam in the road. The rest of the time it tracks dead straight

I recommend the Whiteline cradle bushings if you need to do more. These keep the street ride nearly the same while still eliminating the softer OE bushings and any hop remaining. Depends. Check it out first at the strip.

I've become a "do it as I need it" type of guy as I've gotten older. If this gets me low to mid 1.4 60' at my local track I think I'm golden. Local track is worst case on tnt prep 😜

Hope you don’t need more, nothing is certain. Even with that stuff different, it is a right foot game. I can still make the RE hop. I can certainly NOT allow the hop more easy actually. You will need to see what happens.

The other thing I know; you and others (along with me) are looking at is this shock controller now. That may be one of the most simple yet magically effective mods we have seen in a while. Not cheap, but if it does what they say, then it is something. They should get themselves to any drag strip open right now and offer some same day swaps for people to try out.

my ears perked up when I first heard of that suspension module, very eager to see how it works for straight line stuff.

You bought those pretty red ones that will clash with the rest of your car. They would have matched my interior:unsure:

I'll spray paint them black before I put them on, say goodbye to the red.

Good luck on install. I'm sure at some point I will be buying these. You doing anything with cradle bushings since you are dropping it?
