Funny that they can't make up their minds on this, shows they really aren't sure what they are doing. I thought their first version of "sound" for the car was pretty on point. To make it sound like a gas-powered muscle car is not the right choice IMO

Back in the day, I thought the entire concept of a person spending their entire workday in front of a screen and pushing buttons was cringeworthingly embarrassing, Something I'll never forget!

So...

Dodge can make it sound like anything but they can't decide. That means they have no idea what the target customer wants, maybe because there are no target customers that want it?

They add sounds, "force generators" to add ICE-like vibrations and an unnecessary transmission to create "the thrill and joy of driving a muscle car". Sure, people can be convinced to eat meatless stuff that is nicely grilled and bloody, but most people who want steak will simply buy meat.

What we have here is a solution, but no problem to apply it to.

I was an engineer once, they just do what they are told. Marketing sizes up the market, defines the needs of the customer and decides what will be built, at least that was how it went back in the day...
