2021 Widebody Red Eye Wheels

Apparently the wheels have been re-designed for 2021 and the standard wheel is Carbon Black.

Is "Carbon Black" identical in shade to the Satin Black 5 spoke wheels the come standard on the narrow body?

Also I can I assume they're painted with clear coat ?

The satin paint on all of these newer wheels is really crappy. Scratches super easily. Doesnt seem to have clear coat on this paint.

They are the same wheels as last years 50th anniversary widebody Challenger (just painted satin black now). They are standard on the Charger RE too. If they're anything like every other satin black Dodge wheel, there is no clear coat. Just a very thin and easily scratched coat of paint as Slowpoke said.

2019 - 2021 Widebody Hellcat wheels are identical (Devil Wheels).

2021 Widebody Red Eye wheels (new design).

Interestingly they changed the widebody wheels on the 2021 Red Eye, but not the Hellcat.

It's just a cost effective way to use an existing (but hardly used) wheel design to differentiate the RE models a little from other widebody models (for '21 anyway... past practice indicates these wheels will be available in a year or 2 on other widebodies).
