Yea, I've been M.I.A for a hot minute, sorry guys!

I finally bit the bullet and ordered a 2019 Charger SRT front grill badge. To those of you that have done the grill conversion, can you put the badge into the grill without taking apart the front bumper again? I'm just trying to plan this out before the badge arrives. Taking apart the front bumper is a pain in the a**

You don't need to remove anything to install the 2019 grille badge, pops right on.

I still haven't done my 2019 conversion, everything is sitting in the garage

I'm doing the grille update over Christmas, but it looks like the grille badge I bought has posts that are meant to receive speed nuts from the back side, like the previous badges have. But upon further investigation, it appears my order from Steve White Motors did not include this new part, circled below.... dang.

Take the top of the radiator cover off to get the back piece on instead of removing the front bumper. It may be a tad tight but its easier than removing the bumper just for the badge,

Does anyone have a part number for both pieces?

Just to follow-up on my previous post:

The 2019 Charger Hellcat Grille Badge is part 68463715AA. The package is supposed to have both pieces in it, as shown above.

I received a package with only the one piece, and there are apparently other mis-packed ones as well. Steve White Motors has found more like the one they sold me. The parts were mis-packaged by FCA. Steve White Motors is sending me a replacement now, after screening their stock for bad ones.

The only way to tell if it is a complete part is to open the package. These are packed in an opaque brown envelope.

Thanks for following up James. The lack of a backplate definitely has me on edge until mine arrives. Hopefully I didn't get a bad batch...

Done, didn't have to remove anything. Took all of 15 minutes. Slid the backplate through the snorkel slowly then positioned it just right before popping the badge in.

FYI, you gotta seal the badge through the plate or else someone can just walk by and pull it out.

Just curious - I have not assembled my parts yet, but doesn't the driver side snorkel have a tube connecting to the airbox?

Looks great I had my snorkels hydro dipped in carbon fiber along with that black bumper piece.

Still haven't issued the new grille yet though.

Yea but the backplate is thin enough to fit in between the snorkel and tube. Took some maneuvering and patience to do it my way but you can leave the front bumper on if you do.
