EV Sales Are Just Getting Started?

Speaking of, I want a '25 Hellcat. More or less identical to my '18, but with less tech and nannies.

EV Sales Are Just Getting Started?

He and our governor should get married. They're about equally delusional.

    WELL...IT FINALLY WENT

Sounds like you think that the good maintainers and desulfation is something new. They're not. I was using them when Harbor Freight was a single unorganized store full of mostly complete crap, located somewhat close to where I lived in CA. Good intelligent maintainers have become better and...

    WELL...IT FINALLY WENT

That's the difference between the real thing and cheap ones. A good maintainer can be left on indefinitely and will charge (maintain) as needed. No more, no less. It doesn't matter if it's capable of putting out 0.5 Amps or 5. My '17 Ram 3500 can sit for up to six months at a time and has a...

    WELL...IT FINALLY WENT

I have almost 15 years on the OE battery in my tractor, and 11 years on the OE battery in the small one. What I don't have is the balls to leave anything HF plugged in without me being there. Okay, in all fairness, the battery in the M6040 has had a Canadus desulfator on it since early on, but...

Stellantis To Invest $6 Billion In ICE

Tempting. How much is the pay?

What did you do to your Hellcat today?

I use quite a bit of Liquid Electrical Tape.

What did you do to your Hellcat today?

On the positive side (no pun intended) that's the perfect opportunity to get rid of those damn connectors. I'd rather deal with rodents than those dumb things.

Stellantis To Invest $6 Billion In ICE

I could. If things were upside down I'd know it's not Europe.

Stellantis To Invest $6 Billion In ICE

Easy there, big guy. So was I.

    WELL...IT FINALLY WENT

Wouldn't hurt to have a large one outside the car, too, in case you're not in it when the lithium battery decides to go up in (hard to extinguish) flames.

    WELL...IT FINALLY WENT

Do they give customers a free fire extinguisher, too?

    WELL...IT FINALLY WENT

There are surprisingly affordable ones out there. The proven BatteryMINDer, for example, is on sale for just over $20 every now and then. Even at full price ($40 something) they're a bargain compared to buying new batteries more often.

    WELL...IT FINALLY WENT

You mentioned Battery Tenders, but do they have desulfation?

    WELL...IT FINALLY WENT

Mine's at six years...but I also use a maintainer with desulfation, which might help. If it dies soon it'll be one of my shortest life batteries, and I care for almost 60 of the damn things.

    Good luck, David!

    Miramar Auto Lifts

Hmm. Maybe I should buy a Charger? That way, if I ever decided to store the Challenger on a lift, having a Charger underneath would soften the landing.

    Miramar Auto Lifts

Dannmar is a less expensive version of Bend Pak, and mine has worked well, so far. I suspect that while it's easy enough to copy any design, with identical looking parts, they may not be of the same quality material, or hardened correctly, etc.

    Miramar Auto Lifts

Well, people seem to be somewhat happy with their $5,000 (delivered) mini excavators. There's some really cheap shit out there. And as long as it's not my car on a $1K lift, and I'm not under it, it's probably just fine.

Stellantis To Invest $6 Billion In ICE

Whoa! I thought the snowflakes were in heaven, driving to Starbucks in their EVs.
