Crossed the 40k mark yesterday morning on the way in to work. Just did the 12th oil change on it earlier this week too! And put on the 6th set of rear tires about a month ago :)
The one time I did look over a Demon 170 in person at my local dealer, I did think the grooves in the tread on the rears seemed really deep, just looked like more rubber than the 2 sets of ET Street R's that I have bought in the past few years.
I've been meaning to get this mod and I think this will finally be the version I get. I will be ready to pre-order on the 30th, please keep us updated!
Funny that they can't make up their minds on this, shows they really aren't sure what they are doing. I thought their first version of "sound" for the car was pretty on point. To make it sound like a gas-powered muscle car is not the right choice IMO
I think I paid a lot closer to $400 per tire(maybe $425) in 2022 for my last set. Yeah I only got 18 months and 15k miles out of them :) This is just the rears though, fronts were also new in 2022, they are still pretty good in tread depth.
I just put 2 new Michelin 305/35r20s on the rear. $475 per tire plus install, $1100 out the door!!! Got 18 months and 15k miles on the last set. Car is knocking on the door of 40k miles now.
Gas and tires, that's all these cars really need. Granted a lot of gas and tires, but little else.
The look/style of the car is ok by me, I mean we've been asking for a true-retro designed Charger for quite some time.
I wonder who will be the first to V8/blower swap one! :)
Teslas actually do make a few loud noises if you have ever been in one when they stage and get set to race. They make loud knocks or bangs when you enable the full acceleration features.
