    Supercharger weight question

There are a few of you here that have first hand experience with the Whipple 3.0 and 3.8. Do any of you know the actual weight difference between either of the two and a stock 2.7?

Billet Specialties WinLites 17x10 WB fitment w Hoosier 28x10.5-17DBR

I have a pair of Billet Specialties WinLites 17x10 WB fitment w Hoosier 28x10.5-17DBR. The wheels are in excellent condition. The Hoosiers have 15, maybe 20 total runs on them. They were installed and run about a year ago and have been in my garage since, until I lent them to a buddy in Houston...

    Forgestar 18x5 and 18x11beadlocks - lowered price

I have a full set of Forgestar D5's for sale. The fronts are 18x5. The rears are 18x11 beadlocks. All are Widebody fitment. All 4 rims are powdercoated matte black. One of the front rims has a 1" spot on the outer lip that the powdercoat is chipped off of. The tire shop did that for me yesterday...

Billet Specialties WinLites for the street

I'm considering using my Billet Specialties WinLites for my ride around tires this year. I'm not worried about the 17x10 rears but the overall light weight of the front rims concerns me a bit. I'll be using the MT Sportsman tire so I have no concerns w the tire, just the wheel. Do any of you...

FS 2 sets of MT 305/45-17 ETStreet R's

I have 2 sets of MT 305/45-17 ETStreet R's The first set is nice. I installed them a year ago, went to the '22 Houston Legion event where I made maybe 15-20 passes with them before removing them to try a pair of 28" Hoosiers. They've been in my heated/cooled garage since then. I'll take $400...

Weld S71 18x5 fronts, black powder with M&H front runners

I bought these used from a gentleman that never used them. I installed them on the car when I got them 3 months ago to see that they fit. After that I never used them. To my knowledge they have about 50 feet of use in my garage. The wheels were bought new and powder coated satin black to match...

    Locking in discounts

I am told by my local dealers that they cannot lock in existing discounts on ordered cars. I've read on here - and probably the other site too - that there IS a way to lock them in. Can anyone that's had personal experience at locking in the power dollars type discounts clue me in as to why...

    TNREDEYE '21 REWB

I was debating on starting a thread just for this car. At first I didn't think I'd really learn much between the '19 and the '21 but as I'm working on it I'm learning a few things myself that may be worth passing on. I'm going to follow Ron's model by reserving the first several posts for...

Looking at buying another RE or maybe an SS.. help w opinions

This started off as a quick question for Ron in his thread but it got long so I decided to just make a thread for it so I don't inadvertently hijack his. Any real world suggestions would be appreciated. I decided to just copy and paste it because a good bit of the info I'm looking for can best...

305/35-20 MT ET street SS on a 20x12 rim

Have any of you guys run a 305/35-20 ET Street SS on a 12" wide wheel? I have the Michelin 345/30 on the car now. When I measure the two tires they are surprisingly similar in size. MT is the same width and maybe a 1/4" taller. Anyway.. I see no reason why they won't work fine and look fine...

    10.04 in Darlington!

I'm at Darlington Dragway running my RE now. This place is FAST! DA hovering at -1400, track on kill. I've made 7 runs in the last hour. Some great, some less than great. All but one better than my previous best. I changed from 315/50 to 305/45 MT's and switched from MT front-runners to...

    Sold

Mickey Thompson 28x6-18 Sportsman S/R front tires These tires are very low mileage. They *may* have 500 miles on them including track time. They are in excellent condition. They cost new a bit over $500 for the pair. I'll take $325 for them plus shipping. Pics to follow.

    M/T 305/45-17 vs Hoosier 28x10.5-17DBR Comparison?

I'm considering getting a full set of 'drag only' wheels and tires for my WBRE. The Billet Specialties wheel seems to be the lightest reasonably priced wheel option and the Hoosier front runner looks like a quality lightweight tire. My debate is do I go with the tried and true M/T 305/45 or the...

10.15 @ 131, fun trip to the track

We had a good outing at the track this past weekend. The car is stock w a wheel change and the easy 150 lbs removed(trunk liner, seats, sway bar). It weighs 4465 on the starting line. Turns out a good starting line and good DA will really wake one of these things up! Lol

    New Stock Demon Record 9.55!!!

Ron Silva reset the Stock Demon record this past weekend at HRP. He went 9.550 @ 140.88!! I don't have easy means to post the timeslip but I'm sure someone will be along that can. Great job Ron! I'm looking forward to seeing what the group can accomplish this coming weekend at the Legion...

    Enclosed trailer vs Widebody

I'd like to go to the tnt at Clay City this weekend but I have a concern about loading my car in my trailer. I thought I'd ask here to see what's involved in getting one of these big ol' widebody cars in a typical 102 wide enclosed. It looks like maybe I've got 4" to spare between the wheel...
