Got my 2nd letter for this BS 2 days ago.....they want the car for 5-8 weeks, which I'm sure 98% of the time the car will be parked in a huge parking lot outside in a seedy neighborhood...... I'd be surprised if anyone takes them up on their offer......the incentives are very lacking...

Thanks @Linda's Hell Cat - I knew it !!! I figured someone HAD to do one by now...and removed those silly front bumpers too!! I bet it still handles really well too - only around 2900 curb weight. A guy near me has done a few HC engine swaps and had a big Plymouth (I think) late sixties...

I've seen it before on my Magnuson supercharger. The black coating is called a "anabradable coating". It allows the blower rotors to clearance themselves to the casing for minimal clearance (more efficient) without damaging the aluminum casing or rotors if they should touch while the blower...

I do like the torque rating for the Hurricane. Should do well in a truck and tow things nicely...but....there's a lot going on with the engine! Looks like a gazillion hoses/wires going everywhere on that engine. Seems like it'd be a nightmare to repair should something break. If I were to...

Replaced mine with Z26 pads front and rear back when the car only had about 300 miles on it. Of course I reused factory rotors. Took maybe 1/2 hour to bed the new pads in and no issues. -The Z26's are not nearly as "grabby" as the Brembo pads....and IMO the brakes seem more predictable...
